Human Histories — Visualizing the Journey of Humanity

Human Histories is an international non-profit organization dedicated to making human history visible across languages, helping students, educators, researchers, and global citizens learn from the past and act for a more peaceful and sustainable future. We organize events of war and disaster, invention and cultural exchange along the axes of time, place, and causality, creating an open platform where anyone can explore history intuitively.

Our central initiative, the Histoverse Project, maps millions of historical events on interactive timelines and world maps, while also connecting them through networks of cause and effect. This unique approach allows users to see how humanity’s choices have shaped our present and how lessons from the past can inform better decisions for tomorrow. This unique approach allows users to compare events across regions and eras, building a shared factual context that transcends national and cultural narratives.

Histoverse is designed to support education, research, and civic engagement by providing a shared reference point for understanding history. Through donations and merchandise, supporters help sustain an open, multilingual public resource dedicated to dialogue, understanding, and peace.
